Anyhow, I'm beside myself with happiness this week. Miss Mother Nature has blessed me with sunshine, chirping birdies and weather that doesn't require several dozen layers of clothing. I even went out and purchased a few really cute pare of shoes and a spring-inspired dress! Pics? Okay:

They're irresistible items, right? :p
I also helped myself to these:

Anyway, I also went in for a trim at Savvy in Broadripple. My poor hair was in major need of some texture and defrazzled ends. I was very pleased with the final look!

Woo! :D

AND...right after I returned from the salon, I was informed that David, Amy and Y were going to Rock Cola Cafe, a 50s diner on the East side of Indianapolis (maybe 10 minutes from our apartment). I've always meant to stop in, but just never found the chance. Anyway...we indulged in some delicious food and sultry scenery. How could I not snap a few pics? Enjoy:

sweet ride!

How amazing is that ceiling? Please!

Classic menu.

Root beer float, anyone? This was Amy's and I didn't work up the courage to steal a taste. Made my mouth water nonetheless.

Spot the floating plate. PS. That is one giant pork chop sandwich.

David and I shared this tantalizing concoction.

Quaint!

!!

Dead.

It's a tiny establishment, but cozier than any place you've ever been! :D

Hit the target, mate.
I'll leave you with this last photo. It's one that I can hardly comprehend. Why? Because it's a picture of a lady bug! I can't believe I saw a lady bug this week! My life is truly, undeniably perfect.

Oh man that cafe looks so cute! I will have to take hubby over there sometime, though we rarely ever are on the east side. Perhaps we'll make a special trip!
